Sri Lanka company directors get a lesson in governance
Jan 11, 2010 (LBO) – Sri Lanka Institute of Directors is to train directors and senior managers on their role in leading companies, their legal and ethical obligations.

The training program Corporate Stewardship and Boardroom Governance is to begin on January 21, 2010 for six months.

The course will include sessions by industry professionals, the institute said.

The Sri Lanka Institute of Directors was founded in April 2000 and includes board members of companies, partners of professional practices, senior managers and sole proprietors.
