Sri Lanka footwear firm gets Disney licence
Dec 28, 2009 (LBO) - Sri Lanka's DSI group, a big footwear manufacturer and retailer, said it has got a license from Disney to use its brand on its products.
It said in a statement the deal allows DSI to associate characters from Disney, the world's largest media and entertainment conglomerate, in footwear manufacturing.

The company launched its newly made Disney range of footwear products catering to a range from infants to teenagers earlier this month.

The firm said it expects to look at youngsters in future product lines.

DSI is a subsidiary of the D Samson Group.
